COVID-19 UPDATES

We're back in business!

June 3, 2020

After a long two-and-a-half months, The Catering Company of Chapel Hill is ready to get cooking!

We have been closely following Governor Cooper's guidelines for safe operation during Covid-19, and after making the tough decision to close during the height of the virus's impact in our area, we now feel confident in opening back up for full service, takeout and delivery.

We will remain vigilant in abiding by both Gov. Cooper's and the CDC's recommendations for social distancing and proper sanitation during the course of any food preparation or service. In addition, we will limit our full-service options to events with guest counts that comply with Phase II guidelines.

We appreciate your understanding as we navigate this unprecedented time for our business, and we can't wait to get back to work. You can expect new Summer Takeout Family Meal menus soon. In the meantime, please call us, or fill out the contact form to get in touch. Event Planners are standing by!

Bon Appetit!

A message to our clients

March 17, 2020

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, and Stay-at-Home orders issued throughout the Triangle, we are unfortunately not currently accepting take-out or delivery orders. We have decided that the risk is too great to justify any take-out orders, and our first priority and responsibility at this time is to ensure the wellness of our staff and clients. We appreciate everyone who has reached out in support and solidarity, and hope to see you all as soon as the restrictions are lifted and it is safe for everyone to be out and about again.

During this time, our Chapel Hill office is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm each day, and our event planning staff are working on a rotating schedule, and otherwise working from home. You can reach someone in the office at (919) 929-4775, or feel free to email your event planner directly. Now is a great time to get a jump start on planning fall events, and we're here to help you with that.

We are also working hard to take care of ourselves and our families. We're fortunate to all be well, and we wish everyone health and safety during this difficult time. We promise not to send too many e-mails, but as this uncertain situation unfolds, we will be in touch with any major updates to operations or future plans.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
